Biography

MariLana aka RAS DUMPLING was born Mary Ann Ferrara in Long Island New York. She was immersed in a variety of music from the age of two, singing the now Cardi B “I like It Like That.” she recalls the original lyrics “beep beep ahhh beep beep ahhh… bang bang…” Her Latin Salsa aficionado dad used to sing this with her. Mom was an opera and Elvis’s fan, her sister a Disco fan, and brother a Heavy Metal Rocker… Mary Ann absorbed a little bit of everything. She was always a lover of the latest worldwide music, Club, Dancehall, Reggae, and Afro B. She just released the big tracks and video for Celebration, Realize, & God is Love. Soca Fantasy is her top selling track and Love N Unity will be released on March 3rd with a Video on MarilanaRasDumplingVEVO.
